“Shinzenshiki” is a kind of wedding that follow the custom for Shinto (Japanese traditional religion).

Process
1. Chouzuno-gi : purifying your body and mind by water.

2. Kensenno-gi : Saishu(Master of religious ceremonies) dedicates sake and foods before the alter.
3. Syubatuno-gi : All participants and ritual utensils are received a ritual for purification.
4. Syukusisoujo : Saishu reports the marriage and expresses Sintonism god’s sense of gratitude for divine protection
5. Sankonno-gi : The bride and groom drink from cups of three different sizes alternately.

6. Seisino-gi : The bride and groom swear to shintonism god
7. Tamagushihouden : The ritual is held to appreciate that the wedding is proceeded smoothly. The bride and groom offer Tamagusi(branches of sakaki tree) before the alter.
8. Shinzokusakazukino-gi : This ritual means the bond between the two families. All relatives stand up and drink from cups dividing three times.
9. Tessenno-gi : This ritual means the end of the wedding. Saishu puts offerings away or croses sake bottles
10. Saishuippai : Saishu bows to homage to pay sintonism god. And all participants also bow.
