For lasting hundreds and thousands of years, these are the most important elements he needs. I felt that the outlook for kimono industry is bright for human’s connection and also in the traditional Japanese wedding, it could be a strong point for making a strong bond through the human business. The cooperating body of kimono industry makes surprises. Also, customers can trust the business to assign the one chance in the life.
Kimono’s Today and Tomorrow
Nishizen’s president said that the strong point of kimono is “specialty.” For his saying, in Japan, the chance of wearing kimono is decreasing continuously. For that saying, kimono makes Japanese to realize the special day for wearing the traditional costumes and lack of suggestions for the young people are also the problem these days. But the inbound marketing is growing fast in these days for targeting the foreign people. To make the change, the method of advertisement and thinking should be more progressive.
I also feel same as the president that there is no chance to wear kimono in daily life. For my experience, I didn’t have a chance to wear kimono for once. Japanese are wearing kimono almost 3 times in their life, seven-five-three ceremony, coming of age ceremony, and a graduation ceremony, etc. Even in the wedding ceremony, the western style wedding is the mainstream in nowadays. To cope with these problems, we should have to connect the world to share the attractive point of Japanese traditional costume. The attractive points of kimono, my opinion is…
